Delighted to share that IIT Dharwad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, marking the beginning of a dynamic partnership aimed at advancing education, research, and innovation.

Student Exchange Program
The MoU enables student exchange-including Ph.D. scholars-for durations of up to 12 months. Students will undertake academic or professional internship activities at the host institution while continuing their degree at their parent institution.

Collaborative Research Initiatives
IIT Dharwad and IISc will actively encourage research collaboration, with scientists from both institutions visiting each other to engage in joint research efforts.

Joint Proposals & Funding
Both institutions will seek funding from appropriate agencies to support collaborative research and academic activities.

Sharing Knowledge & Expertise
Information on ongoing research, as well as scientific materials (articles, reports, books), will be shared to build strong connections among experts working in related fields-while respecting mutually agreed IPR terms.

Academic Events
Both institutes will look forward to organizing joint symposia, workshops, lectures, and conferences to spark dialogue, innovation, and cross-disciplinary learning.
